Overnight Train Trip - Oct 2019

We were the only two passengers in our four person compartment on the A/C train from Goa to Kochi. The trip was quite comfortable (for what it was). There is no dining car but food vendors jump on and off or walk along the platforms so you can jump off.

About two hours shy of our destination the train stopped, In between stations, for many hours with no announcement and the passengers started disappearing. We eventually were able to glean that the Kochi station was flooded. We gathered our stuff and climbed off and on to another train bound for somewhere vaguely Kochi-ish. A tuk-tuk managed to push through the flood waters and get us to our AirBnB.
