Goa Brewing Co - Oct 2019

The Goa Brewing Co is only two doors down from Saraya. On Saturday afternoons they open their doors for informal tours. Their building is beautiful and their tank system impressive. They are currently making two beers, Eight Finger Eddie and Saints and Sinners. They also had an experimental lager for us to try. They made us feel right at home and we stayed all afternoon. Hopefully Dr Ash will bring his family to dinner next Saturday night and we'll see Paratosh and his family in Bangalore. It's so easy to make friends here. They even gave us extra bottles to bring back home.

Arambol Beach, Goa India, Oct 2019

On our one of our off days from our Workaway at Saraya Eco-stay in Goa, India, we Went to Arambol Beach to hang out at the Love Temple with the other Workawayers. The beach wasn't very crowded ( it was mid week) but there was a blindfolded guy practicing his tai chi with a stick on his head. Also it was yet another festival day, even the busses get decorated.

A day on Culebrita

We Took a day trip from Culebra to Culebrita for a day of swimming, snorkeling and hiking.

Oops. Missed a bunch.

We haven't yet blogged anything from our visits to Goa, Kumily (India) or Kathmandu, Sindhuli and Pokhara (Nepal).

We also skipped all of our "Christmas" visits to SC, TX and FL. In order to get back on track (as opposed to farther behind). I'm going to ignore all that and move on.

Work

Our work at Saraya included applying mud to the mud houses, cleaning, kitchen prep, and washing dishes.

Saraya Cafe and Ecostay

We spent two weeks in Goa at a beautiful Ecostay called Saraya. It has a cafe, an art gallery, yoga studio, mud houses and tree houses.
