Last night was the last night Hassan was staying with us at the guest house. His two night stay stretched to two weeks but finally he had to head on back to Costa Rico to catch a flight to Pennsylvania. His youngest is graduating from Pitt. Anyhow as a send off celebration Rebecca suggested we all go out to the nicest restaurant in the area. A Peruvian steak house run by her friends.
A new surprise guest joined us too. His name is Helmut and he is riding his bike across Panamá by himself just for fun. He has ridden all over the world: across the US, most of Canada (he lives in Toronto), Europe, Turkey, Russia.
The dinner was superb and of course the company excellent, well-travelled, and entertaining.
